Spirituality and prayer
Spirituality for me, means listening to the deeper levels of our experience with a sense that there is something completely trustworthy and good to be found there. In this listening, many recognise the life-giving presence of God in us, challenging and surprising us with new understanding and insight. My own work has been in accompanying people as they reflect on their lives and discover how close God is to them.

Mount Street Jesuit Centre
Farm Street church is very fortunate to be in partnership with a major centre of adult Christian formation. The Mount Street Jesuit Centre (MSJC) provides a wide range of courses and activities, underpinned by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, to help people grow in their faith and in the spiritual life. The programme includes courses in theology, spirituality, Scripture, ethics and other topics relating to Christian life as well as "in-depth" volunteering projects to put faith into action.. There are Saturday workshops on a variety of themes and regular "Ignatian Days".

Copies of the programme brochure are available at the doors and they repay careful study. For general information see www.msjc.org.uk.

Christian Life Communities
CLC is an international association of Christian men and women who want to follow Jesus Christ more closely by living Ignatian Spirituality in their daily lives. They originated in the Sodality movement which was promoted by Jesuits over many years.

Members make up small groups, typically of 4-8 people, who meet regularly to share their life and their prayer. Together, they are part of larger regional and national groups which make up one single world-wide community. A dozen young adult CLC Groups meet regularly at 114 Mount Street. If you are interested in learning more, visit www.clcew.org.uk
