Jonathan Byrd is a composer and guitarist known for his Devotional Guitar style distilled from the Catholic traditions of Andalusia, framed with classical orchestration. In it, the voice of the guitar is used to articulate prayer, from whispers to impassioned cries.

Jonathan’s latest devotional performance is Passio - a suite of meditations on the events of Christ’s Passion, where we are taken through emotions of agony, torment, tenderness, resignation, and the ultimate faith in destiny according to God’s will.
