SATURDAY 28th March

6pm: Vigil Mass of Palm Sunday

7.15pm: Passio solo guitar concert by Jonathan Byrd. A suite of meditations on the events of Christ's Passion. A fitting start to Holy Week.

PALM SUNDAY, 29th March

Palms will be blessed and distributed at all Masses.

Mass: 8am, 9.30am (Family), 10.45am Blessing of Palms & ecumenical service in Mount Street Gardens, 11am (Solemn English), 12.30pm, 5.30pm

 

HOLY MONDAY, 30th March

Masses at usual times.

 

HOLY TUESDAY, 31st March

Masses at usual times.

7pm: Tenebrae, with music provided by the Farm Street Choir.

 

SPY WEDNESDAY, 1st April

Masses at usual times.

7pm: Ecumenical Stations of the Cross. Prayed together with our friends from the Grosvenor Chapel, St George’s, and the Ukrainian Cathedral. Starts in Farm Street Church.  

 

MAUNDY THURSDAY, 2nd April

No morning or afternoon Mass. No exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

12 noon to 1pm: Confessions

6pm: Confessions

7pm: Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by watching at the Place of Repose until midnight

11.45pm: Compline

 

GOOD FRIDAY, 3rd April

11.00am: Confessions

12 noon: Stations of the Cross

2.00pm: Confessions

3pm: Solemn Liturgy of the Passion

6.30pm: Confessions

7.00pm: Meditation on the Seven Last Words and Veneration of the Relic of the True Cross

HOLY SATURDAY, 4th April

6pm: Confessions

7pm: Blessing of the new fire and lighting of the Paschal Candle, Easter Vigil, Adult Baptisms and First Mass of Easter.

 

EASTER SUNDAY, 5th April

Mass: 8am, 9.30am (Family), 11am (Solemn English), 12.30pm, 5.30pm

 

EASTER WEEK, Monday 6th April to Friday 10th April

Church opens at 11am. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and confessions at 12 noon. Mass at 1.05pm. The church closes after the 1.05pm Mass.

 

SATURDAY IN EASTER WEEK, 11th April

Normal schedule resumes.
